Legal Notice

This documentation describes NameMCSniper for educational and testing purposes.

Disclaimer

NameMCSniper is provided as-is. The authors and contributors are not responsible for account changes, rate limits, service restrictions, lost names, or other consequences from using the software.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Understanding what each command does before running it.
  • Keeping bearer tokens, webhook URLs, and proxy credentials private.
  • Respecting Minecraft, Microsoft, Discord, proxy provider, hosting provider, and network terms.
  • Avoiding abusive request patterns.
  • Using live functionality only where permitted.

Safe Defaults

Version 3.0.0 defaults to safe local simulation. Live claims require deliberate unlocking with --live and an acknowledgement environment variable.

These safety controls reduce accidental account changes, but they do not replace your responsibility to use the tool appropriately.

Credentials

Bearer tokens can authorize account actions. Treat them like passwords.

Do not:

  • Commit tokens to Git.
  • Paste tokens into support channels.
  • Share screenshots that show full tokens.
  • Store tokens in public logs or public issue reports.

Proxies and Webhooks

Proxy credentials and Discord webhook URLs are also sensitive. Redact them before sharing config or logs.
